Hahaha! This reminds me of my sister as a teen in huge yelling matches with our parents -the phone would ring – and she’d immediately do a 180 and answer in the sweetest, perkiest voice ever. Ring. Civility. Click. Booom. Great creation as usual, Mark 🙂
It’s funny how there’s a hierarchy to these kinds of things! I know someone who does that, too. The phone would ring in the middle of a fight, and there’s that sweetness. Phone call ends, back to horrid. Why don’t you act like that to her? I’m not MAD at HER! Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Kirsten!
My pet frogs don’t fight but they sure get animated when we drop in some food pellets. When you entire life revolves around swimming and eating you stay pretty focused on just that.
If only we could sprinkle turtle food over every conflict to achieve peace. Nice run, Mark. Not sure how it’s going to end up, but I’ll be here watching. -v
I’m not sure how this is going to end either, Vince! I really had no intention of writing that turtle into the tale, but here we are! I appreciate that you sticking around to see!
I’m glad you like him, Alexander. I can’t answer your question about the turtle right now because I honestly have no idea! I guess we’ll both just have to wait and see!

Let’s hope this doesn’t lead to a food fight! 🙂
At the rate they’re eating, I doubt they’ll leave anything to throw!
When you don’t want to break bread, try turtle food!
Bread would get soggy, anyway.
The key to mending all things……….turtle food!
Little tiny cups of turtle food at peace talks? I like the sound of that!

Frogs are such low maintenance.
To to break bread…in flake form!
As long as they’re not breaking bread over their heads…

Calms the beast every time!
The hunger beast, definitely!
Food is the common ground.
It works for me!
Pellets for peace!
A sensible slogan if I ever heard one!
This is one of my favorite pages thus far.
I went from disliking the turtle to actually liking him a lot.
Will he be a part of the cast or just a temporary role?
I’m glad you like him, Alexander. I can’t answer your question about the turtle right now because I honestly have no idea! I guess we’ll both just have to wait and see!
Maybe I should send turtle food to my enemies. Works like magic!
Keep your friends close and your turtle food closer.
Food time trounces fight time every time.
I know my stomach overrules my brain most of the time!
Even I get along w/ people when I’m eating! [smirk] …my mouth is to busy chewing!
Knowing your rapier wit, I’m sure those are spare ribs you’re gnawing on.
Tea time!
Saving the lumps for the tea!
Lunch break!
There’s always time for lunch!
A dinner time truce. But look out when the food’s all gone
We’ll return to our regularly scheduled terrarium war after this quick meal break….
