When I was growing up, we had a huge backyard. Me and my brother would spend hours raking piles of leaves and playing in them. Good memories. Nice comic Mark! The colors blew me away!
My guess is, that dog is not leaving bread crumbs behind in order to find his way back, now is he?!? [wink] …what I’m saying is, he’s leaving a pile of something and it ain’t those leaves! [smirk] Bah-dump-dump!
You have achieved a significant milestone with this comic strip which is that of an iconic classic similar to Snoopy as the red baron or Charlie and Lucy kicking a football. It’s like lightning in a bottle. Amazing job.
High praise, J. P.! Especially from a wonderful character-driven creator like you! Thank you for your faith in me, I’m just building on a strip I did earler this year. The idea of Gorr hiding under the leaves was just a throway gag I thought I’d bring back.

Pretty sure I’ve spotted the leaf bandit near my house… It’s by the curb, patiently waiting for the leaf vacuum truck!
A leaf bandit must have steely nerves and great patience. He can appear anywhere under the guise of an ordinary pile of leaves. Who would suspect?
A dog & Autumn leaves just seem to go hand in hand. I wonder if any of Gorr’s Trugg subjects are hiding under there as well.
The Truggz will make a special holiday appearance in a few weeks. I really couldn’t tell you what they’re up to at this moment, though….
I will just leaf this comment here.
You expect me to fall for that one, Will?
You wind this one. I’ll leave you alone.
Your jokes BLOW haha
As long as I don’t run out of gas, Bearman…
Nicely done, Sir!
Thanks Carlo. I really love the colors of autumn, I drew this just to have an excuse to use them! Appreciate you coming by and leaving a comment!
Perfect time of the year for this comic strip. And I think it puts a smile on everyone’s face that reads it.
Ah Chris, that’s a nice compliment. I enjoyed playing around with the concept, the leaves are falling all over here, so I’m getting inspired.
Gorr: commander of Truggz and master of disguise. Who will he ambush first?
Love the autumn colours Mark.
I just love this time of year when all the trees explode with color. I’m happy you like the color, Becky. As for ambush, we’ll just have to see…

Leaf piles are one of my fondest childhood memories. The colors and smell of leaves always takes me back. Thanks for reminding me, Tim!
The leaf bandit strikes again!
Love the colors!
Thanks, Hjortur! I guess my love of autumn shows in this one.
So much prey, so little time!

I have it on good authority that a Leaf Bandit never soils his hunting ground. Sorry to poop on your theory, lol.

Hmm… this appears to be a cautionary tale… I’d better break out the leaf blower…
Leaf Bandit vs. Leaf Blower = Clash of the Titans. Actually have a strip about this in progress, Jerry, but shhh don’t tell anyone!
The secret’s safe with me!
Thanks, pal!
Gah! You did it again!!! This comic is the header image! You’re a badass. sigh.
This comment will make no sense in a week or two.
I guess.. neither will this one.
What do you mean a week or two, lol?
It’s just a lazy way to do a header, Will, lol. Use what you already got!
Lazy is the new genius.
I didn’t hear anything but that clash sounds EPIC!
Let’s just keep that between you, me and Jerry, ok? Lol. Nice to hear from you Marieke!
Oh man, colors are amazing in this one.
Awesome job Mark.
Thanks Alexander. Thanks for stoppin in and commenting. I love your work at Imagine Industries!
Thanks Mark, actually I’m here every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 🙂
I’ll be sure to tune in!
If there wasn’t already snow on the ground here, I’d be watching where I step!
Since I’m a little further south, we’re still in the leaves-changing-colors phase. Lots of opportunity for banditry!
Man, that is one beautifully-colored pile of leaves. I’m always in awe at your coloring skills, mark.
Thanks George. I love that deep red, I see it a lot in the hues around my neighborhood.
Better than finding a snake in the leaf pile (not a fun experience, of course).
Finding a snake anywhere is not a fun experience!
He he he, I’m gonna have to try that now that I have a yard 🙂
Be careful Leaf Bandits are very sneaky!
Ninja leaf dog! Great for stalking cats!
No one would suspect a simple pile of leaves!
I just picture the leaf bandit as a stuffed animal. Would totally buy!
Aww, thanks Jenn. And you definitely know about cute characters!!
You just drew my rabbit! This is Booh’s favourite thing. Next to chewing wallpaper, electrical items, slippers….I could go on.
So Booh is a leaf bandit, too? I like Booh!
no more leaves here 🙁 wich kinda means my job stops till the winter is over D:
Ahhh, but there’s still snow shoveling, right? Your work is never done!
Gorr loves to tunnel in the leaves! Love it! :O)
He can’t resist the sweet allure of crisp, colorful leaves!
