You know, I’ve had this same problem with wind. Sometimes the wind is a bully. Some examples: Messes hair up on that first date. Blows half-filled cups of coffee over onto term papers. Pulls fresh sheets off the line into the dirt. Lifts up dresses at inopportune moments. Steals ball caps from off the tops of heads at sporting events. The list goes on… The unfortunate part is that it always gets away with it. No one can lay a finger on him!!

I agree….the wind is a jerk!
And a critic, too!
And now you can spend another month gathering it up!
I’m glad I’m not the one who has to pick page 25 out of the top of the tree!
The wind, and cats.
And wind-surfing cats must be the worst!
It might make a better story mixed up
Maybe no one will notice.
I like the way you did this one! I actually felt the breeze blowing the papers away! [ignore the fact I’m sitting by an open window] [grin]
Wonder if he’ll get a second draft on his second draft?
Can you paint with all the colors of mucous?
You’d have to be a pretty picky painter!
This time of year hot air doesn’t need any competition 🙂
Blowhards are awful competitive!
Perhaps the wind has great taste.
Maybe he should think about changing the title…
The wind is mother nature’s editor. (I have no idea what that means)
Everyone’s a critic these days!
Oh I hope there is a backup somewhere.
He dropped the second chapter in the water when he was writing in the tub…
Bad time to break wind, Boog! :OP
I love the punch on this one, Mark!

Ha! Ha! Brilliant! :O)
He needs to stick the pages together with a nice sticky booger
He only uses boogers to mark his pages so he can come back to them later.
A boog mark
Haw, haw, good one, Tony!
That was a big mistake cuz everyone knows it’s Windy!
Windy’s not the most personable sort, is she?
He better yakkin’ and badmouthing that wind – hurry up and pick up his pages before the old blowhard makes another pass!
Let’s just hope it doesn’t get its second wind!
He should of used a little of his mucous to stick the pages together.
If he had only saved some for that!
