I always try to not look at later panels before reading a comic. Glad I didn’t with this one. Trying to guess what the firefly was up to then seeing that crazy straw, I started to crack up! 😀
I love crazy straws! I had one when I was a kid and never forgot it! I try to do that too, Bill, but it’s hard not to want to skip everything and get to the punchline!
Welcome to my comment section, Jon! Glad you got it working for you. I’m glad you like Bug. These bug strips are a lot of fun to make, that’s for sure!
Take the Nestea plunge!
I was just imagining a pool full of cold tea, with a hint of lemon!
Just relaxin’. Good stuff.
Chillin’. Literally!
Now that looks refreshing!
Well, it was until a bug fell into it!

perspective!
Size does matter when you’re that small!
A water park wonderland.
And you don’t have to buy a ticket, either!
He took the Nestea plunge!
Dived right in!
The Tunnel of Tea Terror!
The blackest of black teas!
Well what d’ya know? I figured it out! Great toon Mark! Zombie Bug is one of my Fav’s here! 🙂

Good to the last drop! This will make me think twice before squashing a little bug that wants a sip of my summertime tea. 😉
Heaven knows how many little bugs I’ve swallowed over the years!
Reminds me of the old ice tea commercial
Who could forget that plunge into the pool? Someone had a good marketing plan that we remember that commercial for so long!
Its like a summertime slip and slide, with a refreshing splash! [slurp]
With a slight lemon squeeze!
Just don’t pee in the water 😉
Who would know? No one’s gonna drink it with a bug in it anyway, haha!
Ugh! i think that was MY iced tea! I thought it had a ‘crunch’ to it! 😉
Crunchy tea doesn’t sound like a good thing, Rich!
Man – that totally looks like fun.
I’d do that if I could!
Great colors. This makes me thirsty!
Nothing says thirst quench like ice tea colors!
I just can’t enough of this little guy !! Soooo cute !!
I never imagined I’d have a bug as a character in this strip! It makes me happy that you like him!
That’s what I call a drinking pool!
Wet your whistle and your whole body at the same time!
I thought he was gunna go for a high dive or a tube ride
Maybe next time, he’ll slide down the tube…
Totally tubular, dude! What a fun way for bug to get a slide thrill, caffeine high and an ice-cold lemon fresh zing all in one!
Your bug strips are so much fun and very creative, Mark. I love ’em :O)
I’ve been wanting to draw this strip for a while, Joseph! I’m happy you like the bug strips, I sure am having fun with them!
