Overcast is when the sky is all covered by clouds. Here in Texas, overcast usually means we still get the heat but not that piercing sunlight that makes it seem so much hotter.
I’m glad you think Claustria is a guy. My mission to squeeze all the feminine out of her is accomplished, lol! I like drawing her body, she’s all spaghetti-esque!
Big hands, big feet, big nose. You aren’t the only one who thought she was a he, lol. And she’s only 12, if you can believe that! People think she’s a 35 year old woman! Some kids just look old for their age, haha.
Good timing Mark! It’s been over 100 degrees here in Memphis (armpit of the US) and humidity levels are insane!!! I run 2 miles and it looks like I’ve been running a marathon! Heck, I even go to the mailbox (you may need to wikipedia what a mailbox is based on how young you are) and come back sweaty.
I could tell you about how I drive around in 100 plus degrees in a truck with no AC, with one window on the passenger side that is stuck shut and how when I turn on the fan, I get a hot blast of wicked, nasty heat that just whips up more sweat. Or how I swelter in the numerous traffic jams we have here in the metroplex, when I’m stuck with absolutely nothing to do but percolate and pray that it will clear up before I pass out, but I’ll spare you those details.
I only wish that was true! It’s like a steam bath here, with only the slightest amount of rainfall during the summer months. And when it does rain, it just whips up even more humidity, and then it becomes even steamier!
Okay, so what is an overcast day?

This is how red heads must feel whenever they try to tan but end up burning!
I’m not a redhead, but I sure know that feeling!
I’m lovin’ Claustria’s beach look! 🙂
Thanks, Tim. I always try to find a way to cover her eyes, I thought a black wrap would work this time…
Nothing puts a goth out like the tiniest bit of illumination! Love his arms. 🙂

Then consider it mission accomplished, sir! 🙂 I can see the slight feminine markers now, but yes, I totally thought that was a dude!

I usually melt in the heat
Me too, Bearman. And what doesn’t melt, sizzles.
…. I sizzle, like bacon, cause I’m a pork product! [grin]
It’s all about the sizzle, Jynksie!

ahhh,…but it’s a dry heat. 😉

I know my lawn is screaming this… It is so jealous people can get to the beach!
The grass is always greener on the other side of the beach.
I melted last week. I’m not sure how I can still type.
The UV gods granted you a second chance.
I feel her .. burn? I’m so pale, I’m nearly transparent myself.
Translucent skin, eh? You need SPF 3000!
Somehow I picture you set up on Padre Island beach with your drawing board and ink and paint sipping a cold beer doing these strips.
A man can dream, can’t he? Lovely thought, J.P.!
Ha ha! She reminds me of a dermatologist.
Come to think of it she’s dressed like one, too, lol!
I tend to scream that myself with the heatwave here! I like Claustria’s attire. I’m glad Beatrice sets the record straight! 😀
It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one going through this “fry an egg on the sidewalk” misery!
Here, in the blazen land of Los Angeles, I am grateful to God for every cloud that appears (well, every cloud that isn’t brown and chokes the birds).
Every smog cloud has a silver peroxyacetylnitrate lining, Aidan!
Ah… Vacations! Just relax and enjoy the burn, Claustria! ;`D
She’s such a delicate flower, lol.
It’s a woman’s prerogative to be over dramatic
I mean obligation not prerogative…
A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.
If Claustria’s from Austria, she might not be used to the heat.
I think it’s less geographical, and more psychological.
ooh… I can see why she covers her face with her hair…
It’s what’s best for all of us, lol!
