On ZB’s head—-best hiding place in the world! I like how it kept showing up in the comics preceding this one.
“Zombie Boy” is fresh and funny as well as completely classic in style and appearance. Awesome work, keep it up!
As much of a pain it was to draw them, I keep coming up with more million-bird scenarios that I wish I could have put in earlier. Oh well, maybe I’ll have a curse call-back one day…
It’s nice of you to say that, Michael. I will let you in on something. That zombie bird sort of came out of nowhere and took the story in a whole new direction. I’m sure you know what I’m talking about, when something incidental becomes more than you planned it to be. Hey, and I like what’s going on with Jim Corn and his crow troubles. Fun stuff!
Yeesh… and I thought “Where’s Waldo?” was difficult…
Where’s the bird that looks like ZB?
If only he were to use his head on this one! [wink-smirk]
Well obviously he’s not using his head, but the bird that looks like sure is!

Hey SL! I appreciate your “fresh” comment, because that’s a good word to describe your great work. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
Awesome, thank you! Anytime!
Btw, SL. Love your color! How do you come up with those color schemes, anyway? Would love to know your process.
how can a bird look like ZB? ZB doesn’t have wings
And birds don’t have sickly blue heads either, but that’s a curse for you!
He’s the “mocking” bird so he should be easy to find.
Mocking and cussing bird.
I saw him yesterday in the toilet!!!
Maybe part of the curse is keeping ZB in the dark about the cure.
He’s in Monday’s strip!!
I’ve spotted him a few times, but ZB is not so observant. Maybe it’s his dead eyes…
HAHA! This reminds my of the time I was looking for my eraser and could not find it anywhere.. It was in my hand!?!
Or how about the old “pencil behind your ear” trick?
i think i found waldo in your picture somewhere 😮
Bob, you’ve got much better eyes than I got, that’s for sure!
I think ZB will solve it soon. I’ll kind of miss all the birds. They look great!

I had WONDERED why there was that one zombie-looking bird!
I like the way this storyline is going.

When Claustria gets her comeuppance the webcomic readers of the world will applaud in unison!
Funny you should say that…
Wait… I thought I just saw that bird. Man! Whenever we want it, it’s not there. Whenever we don’t want it, then it’s there! Irony of life…
It’s like love, if you’re chasing it you don’t catch it, when you don’t chase it, it catches you!
Haha! This is pretty symbolic of those sayings on how the thing you look for the most shows up closer than you think =)
Yeah, the answer was with you the whole time!
