Well, I did pass puberty, but I threw away my maturity card, I couldn’t adhere to the rules! …. and rumor has it, my “senior “card is only a decade or so away! [yikes]
Nothing worse than a moustache that won’t connect to a beard! I too, encountered facial hair at an early stage, it’s been a lifelong battle to keep it civilized!
Yes, he’s VERY proud of himself! Thanks for coming by and commenting, Michelle. I’d like toe encourage everyone to check out your new strip, Kat Daycare! Just started, but I’m having fun reading it so far!
I sported facial hair like that all through high school. I walked with a strut in my step, confident that one night it would sprout into the most manliest beard since Jeremiah Johnson. Here I am at 36 and am still waiting. 🙂
You know, as much as it might pain you to want a beard, I can say growing up it was a pain to have to start shaving while still in early high school. Now that I can grow a full beard, it pains me even more because of the lack of non-white hair I find, lol.
Sadly,..I could shave 3 times a day and STILL have stubble before day’s end. Funny thing though,…..as I age….I can’t grow hair where I need it,..but can grow it like a bamboo forest where I don’t want it!
Oh I just noticed Jenn’s comment.
Maybe he should keep it trimmed to that length. There was a report on TV the other night that said women find beards a turn off but apparently stubble is sexy…

hahahaha is just the beginning, right?
It’s like the pre-beginning, Pancho!
He’s looking sooo hipster. 🙂
It’s not how much you’ve got, it’s what you do with it!
Looks like it’ll be a while before he gets invited to join ZZ Top…
At least he could get himself a pair of Cheap Sunglasses!
It’s an ancient art.
I don’t he’ll have a handlebar any time soon, though!
This is about how it goes for me.
It’s not much of a flavor saver, eh?
I wonder w-hair this strip might be going?
Enjoying my 3 week ZB fix
ROLFE
Thanks, Rolfe! I think the hair line ends here. Thanks for reading, I appreciate your support!
I know 30 year old men like that.
I can’t identify with them because I’ve been shaving since I was 14.
I have those growing on my earlobes now.
It’s a curse! We lose hair where we need it, and gain hair where we don’t!
Same amount of hair, just in inappropriate places!
Yes, the most inappropriate areas possible!
Ahhh puberty, I know some men who are still waiting for it! [smirk]
A lot of people still carry that “Do not pass Puberty, Do Not Collect Maturity” card.
Well, I did pass puberty, but I threw away my maturity card, I couldn’t adhere to the rules! …. and rumor has it, my “senior “card is only a decade or so away! [yikes]
Maybe you need to shuffle your deck?
Its kind of hard to do when I’m not working with a full deck as it is!
[smirk]
Well, at least it’s obvious you didn’t lose the Joker card!
Hey, a mighty beard begins with but one slight follicle. He’s at a good start. Let’s see if he can keep it up. 🙂
I just hope he’s not in a hurry!
If he cuts this one, it’ll grow in faster next time!
I’ve found that to be true….unfortunately, lol.
That’s how all majestic beards start.
Majesty maybe later, right now it’s just a travesty!
I was lucky. I was one of the few kids where facial hair started growing in pretty normally and not just random scattered hairs.

Bwaaa. That’s me. 🙂
Give it some time, Daniel, sometimes you have to cultivate perfection, lol.
Haha! Awe poor thing.. He’s has confidence though!
Yes, he’s VERY proud of himself! Thanks for coming by and commenting, Michelle. I’d like toe encourage everyone to check out your new strip, Kat Daycare! Just started, but I’m having fun reading it so far!
Wear it proud my friend, wear it proud.

Why do I get the feeling “growing a beard” is gonna take awhile, maybe never? Good one, Mark! <3
Dreaming is free, Jande! lol
You gotta start somewhere!
He looks like grizzly adams!
Haha, Daniel, that’s an interesting perspective. I’m sure Duncan would love to know that.
One hairy hair at a time!
And he hangs on the one little hair, too!
Well, it is lovely!
That’s a very positive way of looking at it, Tyler!
I think most young men have done this! 🙂
And they’re so proud, even if it only is one hair!
Reminds me of my High School beard.
So I take it you weren’t sporting a chin curtain during high school?
Not even close. I didn’t even have any threads to begin a ‘chin curtain.’
Just a wisp of a beard, then?
Pretty impressive eye on Zombie Boy.
He sees pretty good for a kid with no pupils!
That’s an extremely manicured beard he’s got there.
It’s a microscopic goatee, lol!
I wish that’s how it happened with me. But I’ve had a mustach since I was five. Smh
You must have been the baddest kid around!
If it’s a playoff beard, he better hurry! We will be crowning a hockey champion soon!
I think he’s got quite a few more seasons to come before he’ll have anything close to a playoff beard, Warren!
Sadly,..I could shave 3 times a day and STILL have stubble before day’s end. Funny thing though,…..as I age….I can’t grow hair where I need it,..but can grow it like a bamboo forest where I don’t want it!
That is Mother Nature’s little joke on men. I’ve got the ear hair to prove it!
puberty has come!
Bring on the pimples!
Ha Ha Ha!!! It should really take off once puberty kicks in.
Actually we have a bloke at work who has a very similar growth on his face.
Two hairs after puberty.
Oh I just noticed Jenn’s comment.

I don’t think one trimmed hair counts as stubble, but I think he’s got potential!
Story of my life. 🙁
I won’t try to split hairs with you then! Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Lee!
