Drats!
Zombie Boy and Claustria are at it again! This little tale was written before the “Curses Suck!” and Homunculus Saga storylines. If you get a chance, check them out!

Resist the urge, Zombie Boy….er, or should I say Zombie creature…
Even HE doesn’t know what he is, Tim!
This is a very interesting change of events. I like where you’re going with this. 😀
Glad you like it, Bill. I don’t think ZB would agree with you, though.
I’m diggin’ this too! 🙂
Thanks, Chris! It’s fun telling a story, kind of makes the strips easier to produce. Don’t you think?
It’s the only way *I* can do it! 🙂
Yes, and actually it’s so fun reading your work because you always take the road no one expects. There’s always a happy surprise waiting to burst out in your strips.
Wow! Thanks, Mark. I always feel like other cartoonists are so much more clever than me. As for yourself, I really admire the innocence of your strip. It’s got a bit of the Calvin and Hobbes kind of wonder! I actually tried to make GITM a bit like that and it just didn’t work…
Thanks, Chris! Believe me, I cultivated that. I started focusing on what makes me happy about doing the strip, and it’s kind of fallen into what it is. Our personalities drive our strips and they become us. They have to because we are the executive producer, the screenwriter, the director, the cameraman, the editor, the actors, and the intern who brings donuts.
My intern is doing a crappy job with those donuts!
Haw, haw! Well, at least your screenwriter has the chops!
Boy you sure do things the hard way Mark. I just sit back & the writing team, art team, production team, casting team, wardrobe department, wordpress publishing team & the tea lady take care of everything.
I think they may make me redundant soon ‘cos there’s nuthin’ left for me to do
I’m jealous.
Love the last panel gag.
Thanks, P.J., I’ve been wanting to draw that panel for a minute.
The electrical cord just might do you some wonders, Morgan!
Maybe he’ll get help from one of the little bugs!
His zombie brain says “no, no, no” but his rat brain says “yes, yes, yes!”
Haha, love this. Zombie Boy you are awfully adorable! 😉
Awful is the key word…
Rats! That was one powerful spell. Gorr may soon have a new squeaky chew toy.
I think he’s too icky even for Gorr!
Gotta read the fine print on those amulets. Protection from what?
I think the problem was he ingrew it.
He probably wouldn’t like it that I think he looks “adorable”
Don’t mention that, Gruhn, he’s in a bad enough situation already!
Wondering what an electric cord does to a zombie…
Just another shock to his system, most likely.
He’s a Zombie Whatchamacallit now!
An already endangered species!
I hope to see a Zombie Boy/Zombie Bugs team up in the future! Give him a ride on hat roller coaster!
It’s funny how in my mind they occupy two different worlds. Now you’ve got me thinking of how I might be able to make them collide…
I’m like Nef, unsure on what an electric shock would do to a zombie. Do zombie bodies have any water left in them? Inquiring minds want to know.
Probably won’t make much of a difference, Jason. I mean, what have they got to lose, really (aside from a loose limb)…?
So-do-I! Just plug it in first ! [fzzzzt] [smirk]
I’m getting a hint as to how you get that electrifying personality…
Mmmm… Electrical cords taste all sparky…
I don’t see what the draw would be myself, but rats seem to love them.
In the smallness of him, &my bad eyes, I thought he’d been turned into a mouse in the previous strip. I’m not quite sure what he is now. Seems somewhat aquatic though
You’ll have to ask Claustria, it’s her wand!
Cool new story arc, Mark! Love the Ratty ZB!
He’s fun to draw! Glad you like it, Jande!
