Welcome back Master Stokes! Your wit and your presence has been missed and I am glad to see you’ve returned to making comics! [tips hat]
The life, work balance is a tricky thing and taking time to sort that out is understandable. You are a talented cartoonist, so I’m happy to see that you’ll continue creating in whatever capacity you choose. — Scott
Thank you, Jynksie! Actually, I only planned to take a week or so off. Funny how that worked out, lol. I’m working towards finding a balance between art and commerce. It’s a delicate rope to walk on because as much as I love making comic strips, I like to have food in the fridge more! I wouldn’t have a problem staying in the studio all day making funny pictures, but a man’s gotta eat! I do appreciate your nice words of encouragement and I’m happy to be back here with all my talented friends.
Welcome back. That’s a great comic. I have that same wrestling match every morning with my Plott hound, Franny. I don’t know if all dogs are like that, but my dog is very ritual / schedule oriented. Every day she wants and expects to follow a set pattern of activities and events and she doesn’t adapt well to changes in order or omissions. You might say she has me well trained 🙂
Oh yes she does! And she knows exactly what she’s doing too! Thanks about the comic, J.P. There’s nothing like playing with a dog on their level. You know you’re truly accepted when they treat you like one of the pack.
It’s always good to have a wrestling partner.
No biting below the belt!

Coming back with Gorr. That’s the way to do it.
He gave me no choice, Jack!

Welcome back, Mark, we missed you! 🙂
Thank you kindly, Dana! I’m happy to be back amongst my fellow creators!
Sometimes you’re a chew toy, sometimes you’re a pillow! Great to see a new ZB strip!
Love bites – but in a good way! Thanks, Mat, I appreciate your fine friendship and support!
Nice to finally see you back! If I hadn’t seen you around FB occasionally, I would have wondered what had happened to you.
Thanks, Peter! I had to make a complete break from all of it. It’s all about the time involved to do it and social media can be a HUGE time hog.
Both look like fun!
There’s nothing like puppy love!
