Cold Call
This gag was taken almost verbatim from a conversation I had. Some people just don’t get it…

A word of advice…text her back! 😉
Sound advice, Tim!
However, MY first smartphone and I had quite the romance! 😀
It was all those long walks in the park, wasn’t it, Bill?
It’s a Facebook kind of romance 🙂
We’re in such an easy-to-be-ignored society!
Talk about pushing buttons.
And all the right buttons, at that!
Ha, that will get you in trouble!
And you can’t always blame it on your phone!
I agree with Duncan. I don’t check my phone for days.
Bad texter! Bad texter! lol
Add me to the bad texter club! I am so there.
Texting to me is one of the most frustrating and infuriating parts of modern communication!
Who knew that one day everyone would have a phone but very few would want to use them to actually talk.
It’s one of modern life’s greatest mysteries!
Modern love. 🙂
If you would like to speak with your significant other, please stay on the line, and they will be with you shortly. Calls may be recorded for quality assurance.
A phone is only as smart as its operator!
I’ve dropped mine too many times so that should tell you something.
So true! It’s good to remember sometimes people are just people (with feelings and other peopley stuff) and not a bit of social media/phone. This sums so many idiotic things I’ve heard said, its hilarious! Great stuff Mark!
One of my pet peeves is lack of response to texts. It’s like being put on hold, not a pleasant feeling. You’re right, Matt, peopley stuff gets lost in the modern communication device mix, and it makes me crazy!!
Might I recommend a carrier pigeon?!? [smirk]
Just another communication device to ignore, Jynksie!
I barely turn my phone on. I ignore everyone equally.
Including your phone, eh?
whoops
Open mouth, insert cel phone.
After seeing the movie “Her,” a relationship with a phone is not so strange. Or is it?
The difference is that a phone doesn’t mind being neglected, if you just don’t feel like spending time with it.
So… He’s all into carrier pigeons now instead?
Ho hum. Modern communication devices are such a bother!
As a woman, I can relate .
Lol, some people could use some phone therapy. Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Laura!
HE better redial and fast!
I think he’s been put on hold right now!
Phones are more important than real people these days. Everybody knows that
So sad and so true, Tony!
