That was a close call. Cave-Gorr shoulda been around in Humpty Dumpty’s time. Actually in the rhyme there is absolutely no mention that Humpty was an egg. People down through the ages have just assumed that for some reason. I like to think he was a Brussel Sprout ‘cos I don’t care that all the King’s Horses & Men couldn’t save the little rotter.
Thanks for clearing up my misconception of Humpty Dumpty, Tony. I’ll be sure not to have brussel sprouts on the menu if you ever dine at my place, don’t worry!
Gorr deserves a medal for all the lives he saves.
He probably would have let it go if not for the “Mek!”
Loved panel two, Mark! “Mek.” Ha!
Thanks, Tim. More “Mek” to come!
I see what you mean!
I’d say he does alright with half ton eggs!
That was fast.
You gotta be fast in the Gorraceous Age. That is, if you want to live.
Whew! Good save! That ‘lil fella is fast!
That’s his ball! Even proto-dogs are tenacious with their ball!
Very nice catch! He should play professionally. 🙂
We’ll have to wait a couple of hundred million years until they invent baseball, though.
Sheesh! I don’t know if I could be that patient. 🙂
You and me both, George. They’ve got to invent a ball first!
I bet what ever is in that egg will be most Gorr-ateful! :`D Good Job, Gorr-the-first!
Gorr the First? I like that, Jande!
It seems that all those games of fetch paid off!
And Gorr could do this all day and night!
That is sweet. I thought that dog was just nasty all the time. 🙂
Dirty, stinky, slobbery maybe, but not nasty!
Wow he’s fast! 😮
And he’s the runt of the litter!
That “mek” to Gorr, is a new toy to play with once he gets it to come out of its shell!! [grin]
History’s first squeaky toy.
Super Fast!!
I just wonder who’s gonna throw it again!
That takes some serious skills to run faster than terminal velocity. Go Gorr!
Terminal Velociraptor speed!
mek… this thing is going to be interesting. Has Gorr ever heard of balut?
Neither one of us had heard of balut, but I looked it up. UGGGHH. Thanks for the nice comments, Eric, appreciate you stopping by!
With that sort of skill set in the genes, no wonder dogs survived evolution!
It’s all about the game, right?
Now is Gorr going to get a reward?
Oh yes, he certainly gets a reward!
Daww, Gorr has a sweet side! Bravo.
Six inch fangs and totally adorable! Josh, I appreciate you coming by to comment. I’m really digging Atomic Terrier!
That’s one fast mutt! Faster than gravity! Super-Mutt!
Hey, there’s a ball, and it needs catching!
Eggs over easy! Can’t wait to see what hatches.
Funny you should mention….
So fast and caring.
Mostly just wanting someone to throw the egg again!
I blinked and he caught it. Amazing. 🙂
A dog loves his squeaky toy, even if it is a half ton egg!

It’s time Gorr wore a cape
Maybe out of bearskin?
This reminds me so much of the opening scene to Ice Age! Where that squirrel tries to catch the acorn. Anyway, Gorr is adorable as always =)
I appreciate you saying that, Jenn. I’m having fun drawing the more uncivilized Gorr.
