This is my favorite strip to date. I love the full – three panel wide – spread! The background section with negative-space tree silhouettes reminds me of the art from some classic Disney films.
Gorr is an assimilation of every dog I’ve known and seen, but mostly he’s a love note to my own pug. I appreciate you taking time to tell me that, Saeed. Your smile makes all my effort worth it!
Got any snow your way by any chance? 😛
Naw, I’m in Texas, it’s warm today!
Ah I see, suppose you got to get the winter comics out of the way before march. Snow in March would just seem weird! Great comic though by the way
It’s all in my imagination anyway, but I try to keep it seasonal. I’m happy you like it!
Haha! That’s cute.
Glad you like it, Will!
Like the trees! 🙂
A little experiment… Thanks!
Is it wrong of me that I can just picture the little beast whizzing inside the snowman and melting it from the inside-out?
…yeah…that’s pretty wrong.
I sort of saw him burrowing up through the heart of that snowman. The pee part is optional.
Better chuck him a bone or some kibble
Anything to soothe the savage, salivating beast.
Very creative and visually stunning, as usual. Love this one, Mark!
Thanks Tim! I put a little extra effort into this one.
frosty the gorrman
Frosty the Gorrman was as slobbery as he could be!
Gorr is the master of improvisation. Let’s hope no other dog does to him what he did to that poor snowman a few strips back 🙂
They’d have to go through the Truggz to do it, Becky, haha.
I’ve really been enjoying this snow series!
Thanks Michael. Me too.
[smirk] …. thats MY kind of dawg! Naughty, yet entertaining.
“All of the animals except for man know that the principle business of life is to enjoy it.” -Samuel Butler
Love the way you constructed the segue scene. The kiddies might be thankful it’s only drooling at this point. ;`)
As big and mean as Gorr seems, he’s just a puppy at heart! Thank you for your nice comment Jande!
That’s a good tunneling job!
A dog’s got to have a hobby!
That’s an awesome looking panel, bud! I like the third part with him coming up for air. 🙂
Haha, Carlo. I’m glad you mentioned that – I got a kick out of that part, too.
Looks awesome. Really funny and a great layout too.
Thanks Josh! I put some extra work into this one.
The best snowmen are drooling 🙂
Best or BEAST? lol.

Thanks for the nice compliments, Ben! I put a lot of extra time into this one and I’m glad you liked it. Thanks for taking time to comment!
That’s no ordinary snowman!
Kind of an animal/snow mix.
Really nice framing and layout on this one. And the progression of the action is nicely done as well.
Thanks Binky! I wish I could find more places to do one big sequential panel like that, it was a lot of fun! I’m really glad you liked it!
I don’t think I’ve ever been able to do one of those sequences like that, though I’ve always wanted to.
You should give it a go, Peter. I’d love to see you do something like that!
Uh oh! he’s gonna melt that snowman with that much drool!
Yeah, that sure is a lot of hot air and slobber coming out up there!
Again Gorr steals the show. 🙂
Gorr tends to do that, Daniel! And it’s not something I’m trying to do, either, lol.
I love Gor. I really do. Leaf Bandit. Snow Bandit. I just love watching him sneak through the ground. Good job. This really made me smile.
Gorr is an assimilation of every dog I’ve known and seen, but mostly he’s a love note to my own pug. I appreciate you taking time to tell me that, Saeed. Your smile makes all my effort worth it!
The snow bandit strikes again!
Be careful where you make a snow angel…!
Gorr knows how to tunnel!
He really gets in to his work!
Love the background, well done comic, I love how gorr is so happy 😀
A dog’s smile is the best thing on Earth!
Perfect execution with this strip. I could never do this with Alpha Ballistic! Mind you we Ohio ppl know all about the snow! Lol
Thanks Masta8. Playing with timing and sequence in one frame is a challenge, but it’s a lot of fun to do. Sure you could do it with Alpha Ballistic!
Careful! If you keep drooling, you’ll melt yourself down
That would be a literal core meltdown!
