It’s been estimated that dogs can identify smells somewhere between 1,000 to 10,000 times better than humans can. I think that’s true because I’ve never smelled a leprecuan before!
I’ve been enjoying your archives! A funny strip that’s beautifully drawn and (gasp) hand lettered on paper, old-school style. Congrats on your (over) one-year anniversary!
Thanks, Tony. I’m sorry I missed you at STRIP this year. You do amazing work as well. The Amaizing Jim Corn is great and really funny. Is it digital? It has a real hand-drawn look.
Is a rainbow like the bat signal, only for Care Bears?
I guess that is possible. Care Bears or Rainbow Brite!
I knew it! Leprechauns do exist
A good nose can find anything!
Gold has a distinct smell.

I need that dog!!! Go get the gold boy…go get it.
Wouldn’t that be a great dog to have around? Here’s a gold doubloon, boy, find that buried treasure!
HA! Taste the rainbow!
I bet it’s smooth and sweet.
I -LOVE- that dog! [wags tail]
Haha, Jynksie!
I wonder if he’s smelling any Lucky Charms at the rainbow, too.
All he’s missing is the hearts, moons and clovers!
I believe I’d try to find that last one. 😀
I’m sure if he sniffed hard enough he might be able to follow his trail. But leprecauns are sneaky little fellas. He might be setting him up.
You and me both. Gorr could care less about the gold value, he just wants to pee on it.
Is that a real Leprechaun or a Leprechaun Stuffie. I think Gorr would have more fun with the stuffie
You know he would! That stuffie wouldn’t last more than 10 seconds!

It’s hand drawn, except for the lettering. You are braver than I am!
I thought your work was hand-drawn.. Lettering in the computer would be so much easier. I’m a glutton for punishment.
Hand-drawn is the way if you have the time. My lettering is rubbish though, so I use the services of the wondrous BlamBot’s digital comic fonts.
Great strip – just my daft sense of humour.
I think BlamBot would save me SO much time. I’m just a glutton for punishment, I guess. Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Mark.
Very clever and funny. Smart, simple and just right.
I like the wordless strips. They are not easy, but satisfying to draw.
It’s like a super power.
Dogs really are superpowered beings. They smell like 1000 better than us mere humans! Take that, Superman!
