The only beaches I’m familiar with here in Texas are Galveston and Corpus Christi, both very beautiful, sandy beaches. But the beach I love the most is in Pensacola, Florida along the Gulf of Mexico. That is the most beautiful beach ever – white sand, green water, blue skies – it just can’t be beat!
Happy times on the beach. 🙂
There’s nothing like some beach therapy!
It’s funny, to this day if I pick up a shell I have to put it up to my ear! It must be human nature! 🙂
Sea shells have good PR.
Cute 🙂
Size does matter.
Great now I have to pee
There’s a whole ocean out there, Bearman. The fish do it, too.
Thank you for bringing the beach to me! (I’m a little landlocked.)
Tell me about it, Stephen. In the middle of the state here myself!
Fun! Makes me want to get out to a beach 🙂
Everybody needs a little beach in their summer!
Love the signature written in the sand!
Thanks, Brian! Drawing this strip really made me Jones for some sand between my toes.
Is there a shell in between those two that sounds like a pool?
Haha, that’s hilarious, Josh! If you hold it the right way, you can hear the deep end!
It is always a bit easier to hear the ocean when you are right next to it. 🙂
Listening to a shell is like putting the surf on speaker phone.
Ah ye olde shelle game! Nice beach! I’ll take the star, fish! :`)
Lol, that’s what I was thinking when I drew that strip, give me that starfish!
:`D <3
I love being at the sandy beach! Yes, we even have those, without ice, in Canada!
Any beach is a good beach, Warren!
An if you put a can of Coke up to your ear, you can hear cola fizz!
I wouldn’t recommend that unless you want carbonated eardrums!
Small shell small body of water. I haven’t been to the beach in ages. I wonder if a glass of water will be just as enjoyable???
Make sure you put salt water in the glass.
I used to love listening to seashells on the beach. What a great way to mess up a gullible kid’s head. 😀
I blame it on the shell!
I hear Gulls.
Those must be some very tiny gulls!
Wonder what he would hear if he had put a washed up Jellyfish up to his ear? Probably shrieks of pain……(his own)
And jellybeans are NOT jellyfish eggs!
Unfortunately we have a stone beach near us.
Nice touch with the signature, sir. Great little detail.

I think any beach is beautiful, though. Thanks about the signature, I was going to put it there anyway, it just made sense to write it in the sand!
Tell me, what’s the beach situation in Texas like?
😉
