As simple as it looks I did a lot of preliminary work to make it look that way. Also I kept having to mute the color more and more to make the figures stand out. I’m happy you like it, Rolfe, thanks for the nice words.
I hear ya brutha. I’m averaging two prelim strips before I ink final strip. For me sometimes the joke and/or strip can be taken in a different direction or be made EVEN funnier when I see it visually in a row of 4 panels.
I’m the same way, I have to visualize it with words AND pictures. I couldn’t just sit and write the gags out I have to see them as images, too. It also helps with the timing to plot them out together. Sometimes I switch panels around too, if it makes a better sequence.
They’re having there own little “Tour De Neighborhood”.
Get around, get around, they get around!
Wow. Love this one. 🙂
You can’t go wrong with kid gags!
broom, broom, broooooom…
Get your broom runnin’ Head out on the sidewalk….Born to be
wildchild!I know which scooter I want to borrow!
I’m with you on that one, Michael!
One of those is definitely going to have fewer problems with bumps in the sidewalk… 🙂
A much smoother ride yes, but more bugs in the teeth.
Thinking what comes out of Gorr in that image..haha
I’m sure the sneeze would be EPIC.
Great update to the standard witch’s broom. 😀
Every broom should have that accessory!
I’d buy one myself if they came like that.
I’d ride it to work if it was affordable.
That looks like a lot of fun! And those lil helmets are so cute! 🙂
Even cartoon characters have to play safe! Glad you liked it, Marieke!
My wife has one of those! [smirk]
I’m going to leave that one alone.
What? Hers is red also! [wink]
Oh, ok, that makes it better!
Looks like the one with the broom will be less tired. The others will have to push off constantly.
It’s smooth sailing for that little witch.
I’ll take one in black!
A black broom scooter… nice!
Maybe some flame decals
Even better!
I’m just imagining a sped-up version of the Wicked Witch of West’s theme as she zips along!
I hear the music moving faster or slower, depending on her speed. “Scoot, my pretty, scoot!”
I want one! I want one! 🙂 Great page, they just pop off the panel!
It’s a low altitude broom, especially made for little witches. Thanks for the nice words, Carlo, I’m happy you like it!
I want a broom-scooter like that. It looks awesome.
Broom-scooter…hmmm, that has a nice ring to it!
Shut up and take my money!
Lol, Gary!
One quick sweep around the block!
That’s the way to do it!
That’s killing what Harry Potter is pushing! It probably has a AUX jack for the iPod also. Lol
Old witch brooms don’t die, they just float away… I like the AUX jack idea!
Weeeee!
I can see you on one of those broom-scooters right now, Julian!
Someone always has to be a showoff. Of course, mine would be rocket powered.
It’s important not to scooter outside the Earth’s atmosphere, though, for safety’s sake.
Brilliantly, simple strip. I salute you.
An example to any web comic wannabe of how it’s done.

That flying broom scooter sweeps me off my feet!
She’s making a clean getaway!
Looks like she’s put way her training wheels… :`D
Love the progession of the technologies. Very cool, Mark! <3
I imagine littler witches DO use some kind of training wheels on their brooms! You have to start slow and work your way up to free flight!
My eyes went left to rigt then cracked up on the scoot-broom,
Rigt??? Ummmm… That’s s’posed to be RIGHT
Notice how hers is kicking up the most dust? This one was fun to draw!
love the simplicity of this. Man, (*scroll scroll scroll*) you get a lot of comments now! Go Mark!
Be careful with that scroll finger, Dawn, you need it to keep up your fabulous work! Thanks for the encouragement!
GAH! This is perfect
I appreciate your enthusiasm, Jenn, thanks for the compliment!
