What are the pink things he has caught between his teeth?
If you think they’re pink boogers, you’re wrong! They’re braces! I had a friend growing up who wore those pink-tipped old-fashioned braces, and that was what I was thinking of. The pads actually go on the tooth, but I’m trying to be a bit more suggestive.
My first impression was that somehow his gums had become detached and were slipping down his teeth.
This is the first time I’ve ever been accused of “gumming down” my comic strip!
